Model additive relations and compare quantities
Separate and take away part of a group of objects to model subtraction
Use concrete materials or fingers to model and solve addition and subtraction questions, counting forwards or backwards by ones as necessary
Indoor playing area.
Players spread out around the playing area.
Players move randomly around a playing area. When the teacher signals or blows the whistle, players find the nearest person and find the difference between the number of fingers shown on their hands.

Whoever says the difference in the number of fingers wins.
Then the pair breaks up and each person finds a new person to play with.
Advanced players can use two hands instead of just one.
Play with two hands,
