Indoor or outdoor playing area
Chalk to form 9 concentric circles on the ground
Throw-line 3 metres from target
One bean bag per player.
Set up bullseye (chalk) and label 0-9.
Mark throwing line.
Players form pairs and draw up game board on whiteboard or paper (for a decimal number to 3 decimal places).
Players in small groups roll or throw balls to a target aiming to make a number close to the target number.
Select a decimal number, to 3 decimal places, between 0 to 9, eg. 3.355.
Take it in turns to throw a beanbag onto the bullseye and use the digit somewhere in your number.
Once the digits are full, players read their number and determine how far they are away from the target number. The player who is closest to the target number wins a point.
The winner with the most points after 3 rounds is declared the winner.
Play with decimal numbers to 1, 2, 4 or more decimal places.
Change the target number.
Change the values of the bullseye circles.
