Springs and Strings

Every year the Aurora Orchestra hosts an event called Springs and Strings, which takes place at Aurora High School on March 8th, 2025. 

Mr Burdett states “We want all of Aurora to come enjoy a night out of entertainment, great food, and lots of fun with raffle prizes and silent auction items.  All ticket proceeds go towards the next AHS Orchestra trip to help lower the cost for students, The Raffle proceeds are used by the Aurora Orchestra Association to benefit all Aurora Orchestra students in grades 4-12." 

This benefits the Orchestra program tremendously, for example, Mr. Burdett explains, “Because of your generosity, we are able to provide awards to all students, fund educational experiences, guest artists, private lesson scholarships, solo competitions, and at least $9,000 in senior scholarships annually!   This is truly a great event that directly benefits students in Aurora."

Springs and Strings fundraiser will provide amazing food and many more. For example “Wonderful Dinner catered by Jim Alesci's in Solon, More than 70 themed raffle baskets, Over 22 silent auction items including winery tours, getaway packages, golf outings, and The Aurora High School Orchestras will provide dinner music!"

Pricing for tickets is $25 for adults and $9 for children ages 10 and under. This event is wonderful and you get to socialize with your friends and family, walk around, and check out all the amazing prizes you can win.
