Are you interested in learning a new recipe for this year's holiday season? If so, these “Mistletoe Blondies” might just be the next best dessert!
Blondies are kind of like the opposite of a brownie, which you could probably assume because of the name. Although making brownies might be easier, with less work involved, these blondies are so good that you won’t even remember how long it took you to make them.
These blondies take around 40 minutes to make and only involve 12 ingredients. Those include:
Cooking spray, softened butter, granulated sugar, packed brown sugar, eggs, pure vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, baking powder, kosher salt, crushed Oreos, Christmas M&M’s, and semisweet chocolate chips.
This past weekend, I made these blondies with my grandma, and it’s safe to say that they’re a new family favorite. Although making regular brownies would’ve been easier, it’s nice that I have such a good memory with my grandma. And, a new family favorite dessert!
The blondies took around 30 minutes to bake in the oven. Overall, the entire process took about 45 minutes. My favorite part of the whole process was spending time with my grandma. Sometimes I get so caught up in school and work, and I forget to spend time with my family. I enjoyed talking to her and bonding with her, and I know she felt the same way.
If you’re interested in learning a new dessert for your family dinners this holiday season, I would definitely try this one out! Everyone who tried one told me that they were delicious..I’m sure your family will think the same! Below is the link to the recipe:
