Charlotte Varkala is a junior and a second-year journalism student. She has two sisters: Lynnae (19), a sophomore at Florida State University, and Lucy (9), who is in fourth grade at Leighton. Regarding after-school activities, Charlotte is a member of the girl’s tennis team, Interact club, and drug-free club but is interested in getting more involved this year. Her favorite subject in school is history, and she enjoys reading various genres of books. She enjoys being around her friends and listening to music and podcasts in her spare time. Her music taste is all over the place. She enjoys listening to Drake, Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey, SZA, and Megan Moroney. Her favorite podcast is "Call Her Daddy" by Alex Cooper.  One of her biggest dreams is to attend Florida State University with her older sister; she doesn’t know what she wants to major in yet but hopes it will be exciting. After graduating college, she hopes to live somewhere warm and by the water.
