Rania Rafiq

Rania Rafiq is a senior in high school and a first-year journalism student. She is the co-president of International Club, an NHS officer, as well as an officer of Aurora Science Olympiad. She has two older brothers and a pet cat named Cinder. Her interests mainly revolve around listening to music, curating playlists and Pinterest boards, cooking, playing tennis, sketching, and scrapbooking. Though she listens to all sorts of music, her favorite genre of music is Bollywood and some of her favorite artists include Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Arijit Singh, and The Black Skirts. Rania plans on pursuing architecture in college and hopes to travel the world one day. She knows 10+ languages and plans to continue to learn more. She loves writing and believes it is a great form of expression and knowledge, so keep an eye out for upcoming articles.
