Sabrina's Spotify Wrapped
2024 has been a great year for music. I've expanded my music taste and have gotten into new artists that I didn't listen to last year. I listened to a total of 30,006 minutes which is nearly double the amount that I listened to last year.
My top artist this year was Lana Del Rey. I started listening to Lana September of 2023 and have loved her music ever since; I'm suprised that there isn't a Lana song on my top five since I listened to her song "Mariners Apartment Complex" so much this past year.
My second artist this year was Suki Waterhouse, I went to her concert two weeks ago so I listened to her latest album everyday since it came out. Her latest album "Memoir of a Sparklemuffin" has to be one of my favorite albums. I made sure to know all the songs and had a great experience.
My third artist was Olivia Rodrigo, I expected her to be on my top five since I went to her GUTS World Tour during spring break. The concert was incredible and I learned every single song on the setlist. "GUTS" is one of my top albums for 2023, and I'm still listening to it in 2024.
My fourth artist was Taylor Swift, during the summer I was really into her album Folklore that came out in 2020. Songs such as betty, cardigan, my tears ricochet, august, exile, and the last great american dynasty are some of my favorite songs.
My fifth artist was Wallows. I recently got into their music and I love it. The music they produce is laid back and puts me in a good mood. My favorite album of theirs is Model. I wrote an album review for Model, click here to check it out!
My top song this year was "To Love" by Suki Waterhouse. I started listening to this song in February and have loved it ever since. The song has a deep meaning of finding the right person at the right time.
My second song was "Good Looking" by Suki Waterhouse. I really like this song, but didn't expect this song to be in my top five.
My third song was OMG by Suki Waterhouse. This song was on Suki Waterhouse's latest album so I listened to it a lot in preperation for the concert.
My fourth song was Moves by Suki Waterhouse. This song is from her 2022 album "I Can't Let Go". This is one of the songs that really got me into her music.
Lastly, my fifth song was "Good Luck Babe!" by Chappell Roan. I got into her music when I saw her open the GUTS World Tour back in March. I listened to her a lot during the summer, but not so much anymore.
2024 was an excellent year in terms of music and pop culture in general. I spent the first few months of my year listening to Olivia Rodrigo non-top. I worked to memorize the entire 'Guts' album in preparation for the 'Guts' World Tour in March. I knew every lyric to every song and the concert was an unforgettable experience. Olivia Rodrigo's placing as my top artist was no shocker.
Close behind Olivia is Tate McRae. Her songs were never absent in my car this summer. My best friend got me into Tate's music, and countless memories were made belting her songs. Two Tate Macrae songs made it to my top five: 'exes' and 'run for the hills.'
I've always been a fan of SZA, but she finally made my top artists this year, placing third. SZA's song 'Far' earned first place in the list. Another close friend of mine introduced it to me and it continued to play regularly throughout the rest of the year. I understood why this song took first place, but I was disappointed because I felt as though it didn't accurately describe my year.
A nice contrast to 'Far' was my second-place song, 'Confident' by Justin Bieber. It's a fun upbeat song that better aligns with my 2024 experience. As a long-time Justin Bieber fan, his placing fourth made total sense.
These are the main artists that I listen to, so I knew that the fifth-place song and artist were gonna be wild cards. Khalid took the spot as my fifth top artist. I played his songs more frequently last year, as I had won tickets to his concert in a radio contest in 2023. I listen to him less often now, but his music never disappoints during car rides. As for my fifth-place song, 'The Color Violet' by Tory Lanez, it's a song that I can play around any friend that I'm with. It's often heard in my car with friends since it's a song that all my friends enjoy.
Overall I think my Spotify Wrapped accurately reflected my year, but I do hope to expand further my taste in music in 2025.
I have spent almost 100,000 minutes listening to music this year- wow.
Lana Del Rey: Slowly throughout the years, Lana has rose in my artists. From the rap-pop mix of "Tough" featuring Quavo to the sad themes of "Living Legend." Lana's versatile discography serves me in every mood.
Taylor Swift: Being dethroned this year, my listening of Swift has diminished greatly between this year and last. However, her albums "Folklore" and "Evermore" keep her on top. Though not making it top my top five, honorable mentions include "Cowboy Like Me" and "Tis' the Damn Season."
Frank Ocean: A drop of musical diversity in my artists list that I'm so grateful for. Frank has been on my wrapped for four consecutive years, waiting to be dethroned (he won't). Artists come and go, but Frank Ocean is forever.
Adrianne Lenker: A new artist has emerged on my list. Taking my top two song spots, Lenker has had a large impact on my entire year. Producing "songs" and "Bright Future," two albums with no skips, she was bound to be on my list.
Phoebe Bridgers: also has shown up on my list for four years, her influence on me never shaking.
"anything" by Adrianne Lenker: I never fail to have a devastating song take my first spot. I play this song when I'm happy and sad because depending on how you feel, the song takes an entirely new meaning
"not a lot, just forever" by Adrianne Lenker: another devastating song that was bound to snag a top spot. I listened to this song to fall asleep, to cry, to even dance (I'm insane).
"peace" by Taylor Swift: this song is (surprise) another sad one, and my go-to-sleep song. It is one of the most underrated songs by Taylor Swift.
"Beach Baby" by Bon Iver: SUPRISE! Another DEVASTATING track. I promise I'm okay! Sad music is just the best music!
"Haunted" by Beyonce: Finally a change! This song is my go-to getting-ready song. Between the beat drops and the vocals- it deserved this spot.
I was quite surprised with my Apple Replay ‘24. I had not expected more than 5,000 minutes, nor was I surprised by my lack of diversity in music. I do not actively listen to music as it is not one of my hobbies; however, I enjoy it very much. My New Year's resolution will be to listen to more music and expand my musical knowledge. Although the total minutes of music I’ve heard this year is a surprise, my top artist is not. I have been a Zach Bryan fan for a couple of years now and he never fails to give me a song to turn on in my car after a long day of school or work, learning to take it slow and appreciate the good moments in life. I recently got to see Zach Bryan in The Quittin Time Tour 2024. He played beautifully as he spoke from the depths of his heart, each word being brought to life by him and the audience. It was truly a beautiful concert and made me fall even more in love with his music. As shown by my replay, my top song is “28”. Although I love this song and it is one I scream at the top of my lungs, it is not my favorite. During the concert, I discovered that my favorite song is “68’ fastback”. It is a song with such a deep meaning. It’s the kind of song you listen to when you're feeling down, so yes it is a sad song, but it is a sad song with a deep meaning. When people are going through tough times we often feel hopeless, sometimes acknowledging our feelings is the best way to cope or even overcome them. Zach Bryan has created lots of lyrical masterpieces that people can connect with and that is why I think he is so popular. I have to say I was shocked to see his newest album, The Great American Bar Scene, was my top album because personally, I prefer other albums over that; nevertheless, I cannot deny it isn’t a great and nicely distributed album. I will be singing into the next year, educating myself on different genres of music as well as a variety of artists, hoping to find some insight into the alluring artistry of music.

Are you 'Lucky enough' to listen to Zach Bryan's new album?
Tyler, The Creator has been my top artist for three years in a row and I'm not surprised. I could probably count the number of Tyler songs I don't love on one hand, which explains him being my top artist and taking up two spots on my top five songs. Tyler's new album, "Chromokopia," definitely helped Tyler maintain his number one spot in my wrapped with songs like "Sticky," "Noid," "Like Him," and "Darling, I." Journalist, Kenzi Frost, wrote a review on "Chromokopia," go check it out here!
Another album that dominated my year was "IGOR," by Tyler, The Creator. Both "EARFQUAKE" and "I THINK" are both from "IGOR," making for two great top-five songs. I'm not too surprised that “EARFQUAKE” made it so high on my list since me and my dad both love this song and listen to it anytime we drive together. Any we hear this song, my dad always tells me that it will be stuck in his head for days.
2024 was a great year for my Spotify wrapped and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Tyler the Creator and Kendrick Lamar have been staples in my music for years and both of them were also in my Spotify wrapped last year. My top song this year, "PRIDE, " was also my second most listened-to song last year. Clearly, I love this song and hopefully, it will make it to my top songs again next year! This song is a staple for me any time I go on vacation, tan outside, or drive practically anywhere. This song is probably on at least ten of my playlists and it will continue to be a song I listen to daily. The relaxed vibe to this track combined with Kendrick's voice is absolutely amazing.
Obviously, we cannot forget Tame Impala, Kanye West, and Frank Ocean. Tame Impala's songs never fail to amaze me, especially "Currents," which is my favorite album from them. I am kind of surprised that Kanye made it on my wrapped, but I have a habit of becoming obsessed with him every single summer, so I can see how he got up so high. Frank Ocean is amazing all around and I really got into his songs this year.
Overall, I wish the Spotify wrapped showed more about what we all listened to, like top genres, top albums, etc., but I still love being able to see what my listening summarizes to at the end of the year. I hope next year's Spotify wrapped is more like the wrapped from 2023, but I am still very happy with how mine turned out!
This year has been a lot of country music, and I love it. Carrie Underwood and Luke Combs were my top two artists this year, these artists have been my favorites. Carrie Underwood and Luke Combs have amazing voices and I never get tired of listening to them. All of my top songs are country songs ranging from 90s country to contemporary country. Carrie Underwood has a country-pop style that is a little different from other country songs which I feel sets her music apart. Luke Combs has the element of traditional country that makes you want to listen to him all summer long, or all year long in my case. My next artists are Christian artists that I have listened to since I was little. Francesca Battistelli and Jamie Grace bring back a lot of fond memories from my childhood, I have always loved their music. "Mama's Broken Heart" by Miranda Lambert is a song that has been on my playlist for a long time, I'm not sure how it made its way to the top, but it has been a song that I have listened to throughout the year. The next four songs on my top song list, I feel are very accurate to my music taste. All of the songs on my list have been frequently listened to all year round. I feel that my top artists are extremely accurate to what I listen to daily. Overall, my music has consistently stayed country, and my Spotify Wrapped most definitely reflects almost all of my year of music listening. I love all of these artists and all of these songs, I can't wait to see what next year brings!
I stuck to listening to the same artists in 2024, as I did in 2023. I'm overall pretty happy with my Spotify wrapped this year, other than the fact that I have significantly less minutes listened than I've had in previous years. I used to listen to music very frequently, but over the course of this year I stopped.
My top artist, Taylor Swift, was unsurprising. I have been a fan of hers for as long as I can remember. I've spent most of this year listening to one of her favorite albums, "folklore." I was in the top 9% of listeners for her this year, showing that I did listen to her significantly less than I did last year.
Moving onto my second top artist, Noah Kahan, was also expected because I had spent multiple months leading up to the concert of his that I attended, listening to his songs. Two of his songs are featured in my top songs, "Maine" and "Stick Season."
My top song, “Maine” by Noah Kahan was unpredictable and very unexpected. I remember listening to this song quite often, but not enough to make it my top song of the year. I ended up being in the top 0.5% of listeners for this song as well. According to Spotify, I listened to the song thirteen times in one day.
My third top artist, Gracie Abrams, was so predictable. In the past few years, I discovered her songs and instantly fell in love with her music. When she released “The Secret of Us” in June, it became my go-to album to put on when driving over the summer. It was no surprise to see, “Risk” her lead single of “The Secret of Us” to be my second top song because I played it on repeat when it first came out.
My fourth and fifth top artists, Zach Bryan and The Lumineers were very surprising. As well as my fifth top song, “Spotless” written by Zach Bryan featuring The Lumineers. I’m sure that they both are my last two top artists because of this song, but I don’t remember listening to it that often.
To conclude, I would say that I am pretty content with my wrapped this year. If I had to make a predication for it next year, I would guess that either Taylor Swift or Gracie Abrams would be my top artist.
Throughout 2024, my music taste ventured from pop to rap to country. I think it's safe to say that my early 2024 self played a big part in my Spotify Wrapped. Here's what I think about my 2024 Spotify Wrapped.
My top artist (yet again) was Taylor Swift. This makes no sense because I haven't listened to her in such a long time. I think that my early 2024 self was still obsessed with her, like I was in 2023. I like Taylor Swift because it can be easy to relate to her music, and I think her newest album, "The Tortured Poets Department" has a lot of relatable songs. She released that album in April 2024, which was probably the last time I listened to her on repeat. My second artist was Morgan Wallen (again). This makes a lot of sense because I used to listen to Morgan Wallen all the time. His song, "Cover Me Up" is probably my favorite of his, and I'm shocked that it wasn't one of my top songs this year. I became a Morgan Wallen fan in May 2023 and I've been an active listener ever since. My third artist was Zach Bryan. I'm not shocked that he was one of my top artists. Over the summer I listened to his music a lot, making "Oklahoma Smokeshow" one of my favorite songs. I haven't listened to him a lot since school started. I associate his music with summer, so I tend to listen to him more on a summer night, not so much on a winter evening. My fourth artist was Sam Hunt. I'm a little surprised that he was one of my top artists, but I do like his music. I went to a concert of his in March 2024 with my best friend, Charlotte. Leading up to his concert and after that, I was constantly listening to his music. I actually wrote a review about his concert! My fifth artist was Megan Moroney. Megan Moroney has to be one of my favorite music artists. I'm so glad she was one of my top artists. I could listen to her music all day long if I could. I'm hoping that for Christmas I can get tickets to see her in June!
Overall, I think that my Spotify Wrapped is pretty good. I'm honestly shocked that I had so many country-pop artists in my top artists category. However, my top songs are a whole different story. I'm super excited to see how much my music taste will change in 2025!
I think it is quite obvious which artist dominated my 2024. It was an artist who dominated the pop culture scene: Charli xcx. I have been a fan of Charli xcx ever since her bomb feature in "Fancy" with Iggy Azelia. But I seriously got into her music around three years ago. It has been really incredible to see her reach new heights with her album "BRAT" which was released over the summer. The album landed at my third played of the year, which I have to say, is one of the only surprises here, given that I have played that album pretty much every day since its release. However, “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT” by Billie Eilish does make sense being my number one. It was one of my favorite albums of the year and my favorite album by Eilish overall. I had the pleasure of seeing Eilish live on her tour this past October and it was amazing to see her bring this album to life. Also, not surprising to see Ariana Grande in my most played artists and albums with her latest release “eternal sunshine.” (full review of “eternal sunshine”) I really have been a hardcore fan of Grande since 2013, and no it was not just a phase, because nearly 12 years later I still have so much love for her and her music. Her first album in almost for years, “eternal sunshine” was one of the best pop releases of the year. I will never get tired of her voice. As far as my songs go, “Club classics” being number one makes absolute sense. It is my favorite song off “BRAT” and my favorite song of the year. “Von ducth” was the lead single for “BRAT” and I remember the first time Charli xcx posted a snippet for this track back in January, “BRAT” was going to be a special alum. The third song “claws” is a song not on “BRAT” but on xcx’s 2020 album “how i’m feeling now” and is actually my favorite song from her overall. As far as genres go, I am surprised that pop didn’t land at one given my most-played artists were pop artists. I would be curious to see what Apple Music considers to be an alternative but it’s not unbelievable. Overall, my Replay may not be extremely exciting but it is true. Make sure to check out my article recapping my favorite singles and albums of the year!
Throughout 2024 I Listened to a lot more music than I have in the past in general, but I also branched out more and listened to more of a variety of artists, however, that is not really reflected in my top songs and artists. My top artist this year was Taylor Swift which I didn't expect because I mostly only listened to her at the beginning of the year. Some of the other artists in my top 5 were Tate McRae, Adele, Sabrina Carpenter, and Olivia Rodrigo. These artists being in my top 5 was much less surprising because I would say I do listen to them pretty often.
My top song this year is "Not My Fault," which I did not expect because I only listened to this song over the summer. All of my other songs are off of Tate McRae's most recent album, "Think Later," which I listened to a lot when it first came out, so these songs being in my top 5 make sense.
In general, I think my Spotify Wrapped this year could’ve been better. I wish my top songs weren’t all from the same album, but I am pretty happy with my top artists. I am excited to get next year's Wrapped and hope it is a little more accurate!
🥲Looked forward to this all year and it's finally here, so here's what I have to say about my Spotify Wrapped!
I actually have absolutely no clue who my top artist even is. 😆 However, he has composed and produced almost the entirety of the Bollywood music in the early 2000s, which is why I believe he was my top artist because I listen to more music from that genre than I remember to breathe. Though not in my top songs, some honorable mentions are "Tum Se Hi" and "Pee Loon" by Pritam. My next top artist was A$AP Rocky, which isn't even slightly surprising. He has some absolute bangers, two of which made it to my top this year: "Fashion Killa" and "Sundress". I think I learned to drive for the sole purpose of blasting these songs in the car. Frank Ocean, the love of my life. I'm honestly surprised that he wasn't higher on my list because if not Bollywood music, then Frank Ocean was always on repeat this year. He, alongside A$AP Rocky, were my summer artists. Frank's songs are present in every playlist I have made, which shows how much variety he has in his songs. "Novacane", you deserved that spot on my list of tops. Just like Pritam, I have no clue who Vishal-Shekhar is.😅 He is an influential composer in the Bollywood scene, so it makes sense for him to make the list, but it's no fun getting artists I don't even know properly. Bleachers has my whole heart. Their songs are the epitome of summer and driving around with friends under the sun- fun, fun, fun! What shocked me the most was that even though "Die Hard" made the list, Kendrick Lamar was not on here. He has managed to drop one hit after another and I could not believe that he's nowhere to be spotted on the screen 🥲. To conclude, "Jhoom" was the 5th top song I listened to this year- a lovely and majestic song sung by Ali Zafar with an amazing voice!!
My top artist was Brody Grant. I am a big musical theater lover and he is currently playing the main role in The Outsiders musical. I found the musical back in May when the original Broadway cast album was released.
My next top artist was the Original Broadway cast of The Outsiders. Like I said before I found the musical and I fell in love with the music and would not stop listening to it.
My third top artist was Taylor Swift. I have some of her older songs that I grew up listening to. Even though I am not the biggest fan of her, I like to listen to her country music.
My fourth artist is Olly Dobson. He was the original Marty McFly in the musical Back to the Future on the West End. I found the show when I saw the tour at Playhouse Square this past summer. Once I saw the show, I fell in love with a lot of the music and like The Outsiders, I couldn't stop listening to the music.
My final artist is Erika Henningsen. The music I hear from her is from Mean Girls the musical. I have been a fan of the musical for a while now and always listen to a few songs from it often.
All of my top songs are from The Outsiders musical. I am a big musical theater lover and typically that is all I listen to, but I sometimes listen to other music.
Top Songs
My top song this year was "Oklahoma Smokeshow" by Zach Bryan. This song came out in 2022 but I just discovered it at the beginning of the summer. Me and my sister started listening to this song in the car and would play it almost every car ride for the rest of summer.
My second top song was “The Spins” by Empire of the Sun and Mac Miller. This song has been on my playlist for the past few years, but this year I just started listening to it more often. This song I also just listened to a lot over the summer, I am actually surprised it made it to my wrapped.
My third and final top song was “I Remember Everything” by Zach Bryan. I added this song to my playlist once I heard it on TikTok, and really liked it. I started playing on the way to school when my dad would drive me, and that’s when we both started playing Zach Bryan and listening to more of my music.
This year, I listened to 50,025 minutes of music. It was a mix of old artists and a lot of new ones. I tried to branch out and listen to a new variety of songs and genres.
Top Artists
My top artist this year was Taylor Swift. I have always been a fan of her music and I have been to three of her tours, although I am still surprised she made it to my #1 spot this year. I listen to her frequently but thought she would get passed up this year by Zach Bryan.
My second artist this year was Zach Bryan. I am not surprised at all by this. I started listening to Zach around February and really enjoyed his music. In July when "The Great American Bar Scene" came out, I listened to it 24/7. I don't usually like country music, but his music I make an exception for.
My third top artist this year is Noah Kahn. I started listening to his music at the end of 2023 and listened to it even more at the beginning of this year. He had a lot of new releases this year including almost a whole album of collaborations with other artists. I was very lucky and got the chance to go to his tour this summer, and it was one of the best concerts I've been to.
I have listened to many new artists this year, but one has impacted my music taste: Noah Kahan. This past year I have listened to his music for 1,905 minutes. Noah Kahan has been my favorite artist because of his style of music. This year I was allowed to see Noah Kahan play at Blossom Music Center for my birthday and was able to hear him sing songs from his "Stick Season" album, and it was the best concert I have ever been to.
My second top artist from this year, listening to her music for 1,595 minutes, was no surprise, Taylor Swift. This year, Taylor came out with her new album "Tortured Poets Department" as she was still on her worldwide tour "The Eras Tour". I have loved Taylor ever since I was younger, and I was allowed to go see her in November for her last U.S. show for her tour. and it was the best night of my life.
My final artist in my top 3, who I started listening to in the summer and has made my top 3 by listening to her for 817 minutes, was Gracie Abrams. Gracie Abrams has grown more and more popular as the year went on, and gained popularity from her new album “The Secret of Us”. As summer went on, I started listening to Gracie Abrams more and got to see her open for Taylor Swift and that made me love her music.
My top Song of the year was “Forever” by Noah Kahan. I would listen to it on repeat and it was a part of my reading album for when I read books because I love to listen to music and read at the same time.
My second top song was “Sailor Song” by Gigi Perez. This song became viral on the app “Tiktok” and I loved the way it sounded so I added it to my playlist in the summer. I loved listening to this song with the windows down in the summer and it’s also a part of my reading playlist.
The last song in my top 3 was “So American” by Olivia Rodrigo. This song was added to her “Guts” album, after already releasing her original songs. This was another song that I listened to in the summer and it’s on my summer playlist. This song was very catchy and I loved the way it sounded.
I have listened to many new artists this year, but one has impacted my music taste: Noah Kahan. This past year I have listened to his music for 1,905 minutes. My music taste and favorite genres have fluctuated throughout 2024, but one thing that has stayed consistent is my top artist, Taylor Swift. At the beginning of 2024, I listened to more pop music. However, my musical taste tends to bounce around throughout the year. Here are my thoughts on my 2024 Spotify Wrapped.
Starting with my 5th artist, Olivia Rodrigo. In March 2024, when she released “GUTS (spilled),” I was obsessed with a couple of her new additions to the original “GUTS” album: “scared of my guitar” and “stranger.” The following two artists also make sense. This year, Frank Ocean was a new addition to my list, and 2/5 of my top songs were by him (“White Ferrari” and “Moon River”). I listened to “White Ferrari” a total of 75 times starting on January 12th and was in the top 0.5% of listeners globally. My top 3 artists, Taylor Swift, Drake, and SZA, were also my top 3 last year, so I am pretty consistent. I have always loved SZA and have been a massive fan of her “SOS” album, so her being my 3rd artist and “Open Arms” being my second most streamed song seems right—lastly, Drake and Taylor Swift. The only Taylor Swift on my list was “Cold As You” which is from her “Taylor Swift” album (her debut) that came out in 2006. I like her old music and had “Picture To Burn” on my Spotify Wrapped last year, also from her debut album. I didn't have any Drake songs in my top 5, but I listened to “Hours In Silence” the most and love to shuffle through his music. All in all, nothing on my Spotify Wrapped was surprising. Not even “Mirrors” by Justin Timberlake. While this song might be old, it has been a song that I never get sick of and listen to all the time.
My first song was "Style" by Taylor Swift. This has been my favorite song for as long as I can remember, especially during my freshmen year. This song has always held a special place in my heart. My second song was "One More Night" by Maroon 5. My brother and I love Maroon 5, and this song is just one of those I love listening to in the car. My third song is "Jumpman" by Drake and Future. This is my go-to hype song and rap song. I listen to it a lot during volleyball season. However, this is also just one of my favorite Drake songs that I listen to whenever. My fourth song was "I Get the Bag" by Gucci Mane and Migos. This is another song I listened to during volleyball season. I find it catchy so I listen to it a lot outside of volleyball too. My fifth song was "Back To Back" by Nardo Wick, Future, and Southside. I like this song, however, I only listened to this song during volleyball season and I haven't listened to it since.
Overall I wasn't surprised at my top artist at all. If you are in the car with me I will always play a Drake song, he's my favorite :) I love all my top 5 artists. Those are the artists that make up my playlist basically, Drake is my go-to whenever. Taylor Swift is for when I am either with my friends or just want a good song to scream. The Weeknd is more for late-night car rides. Future is a good artist when you want rap music. Last, but not least, Zach Bryan. Based on my songs and artists you probably wouldn't think I like country music, but I love country. Overall I loved all my songs and my artists and feel they fit me perfectly.
TOP ARTISTS
This year, listened to many different albums, songs, and artists that will become a staple in my music rotation. My top artist this year is Taylor Swift. This is the second year in a row that she has been my top artist because I started liking her a lot last year and now there are a few songs of hers that are on repeat. Taylor Swift has so many songs and albums that it is hard for her not to take up a big part of my playlists. followed by Taylor Swift, my second listened-to artist is Noah Kahan. I loved his music when it came out and I went to his concert in May. My third top artist is ABBA whose music is on repeat during the summer. I love Mama Mia, so my top album is “ABBA Gold” because it has all of the songs from the musical that I love to listen to during the summer.
TOP ALBUMS
“ABBA Gold” is my top album but my second album was “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” by Chapell Roan. I started listening to this album in June really liked some of the songs. This is right around the time when Chappell Roan became super popular, so I hope that popularity stays and she releases another album that is just as good. Lastly, my third top album was “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT” by Billie Eilish which I listened to at the end of the year. Some of my favorite songs from this album are “WILDFLOWER” and “CHIHIRO” which I listened to all the time but did not make it in my top three.
TOP SONGS
Finally, my top song was “ivy” by Taylor Swift. I have loved this song for a long time and love listening to it in the fall and winter time. This is probably my favorite Taylor Swift song because I love the lyrics and the melody. My second most played song was “Motion Sickness” by Pheobe Bridgers. I love Pheobe Bridgers a lot ever since I started listening to her a few years ago. For the past few years, “Motion Sickness” has been number one on my replay so it was a shock to me that it dropped to second this year. My third most-listened song of the year was “I Know the End, " also by Pheobe Bridgers. I have loved this song since I heard it for the first time. It is a very different-sounding song from my others on this list but I love the eerie vibe and how the song builds up as it continues.
