Anna Grummitt

Anna Grummitt is a senior and a 2-year journalism student. She enjoys playing tug-of-war with her two golden retrievers, Lily and Honey, engaging in her final year of golf with her best friends, and going for late-night drives with her friends. Her favorite TV shows are “Grey’s Anatomy” and “The O.C.,” and her top musical artists are currently Lizzy McAlpine and Role Model. During her free time, Anna takes pleasure in perfecting her coffee of the day, which involves some espresso, honey, and cream, along with going for long walks with her mom. She also appreciates a good movie and a day spent binge-watching her favorite shows. When it comes to friends, Anna is down to shop, eat, or simply just drive around and blast music. Despite her lack of it, sleeping in, especially on a chilly fall day, is one of Anna’s guilty pleasures. When it comes to shopping, Anna rushes to Sephora for her beauty products, Target for her fun drinks, and Hollister for some cute tops or a nice pair of jeans. Leaving the high school soon, Anna plans to go to college and pursue a career in nursing, where she will specialize in pediatrics, helping the kids who need a little extra love and care. Regarding writing for The Gambit, Anna hopes to write reviews on her favorite coffee shops and movies, and discuss controversial events in Editorials. Anna is excited about this upcoming year and the articles she will publish.
