“If you want to protect the people you care about, you have to be willing to do whatever it takes.” That is what Peter Sutherland says in season one of “The Night Agent,” which reflects the morality of this must-watch TV show, currently streaming on Netflix.
Peter Sutherland, a low-level FBI agent was given the task to answer phone calls in the basement of the White House and transfer them over to the Night Agents, who are highly trained FBI agents operating secretly and working on national security cases. The first call he receives is from Rose Larkin, a girl who just witnessed mysterious assassins break into her family’s home and murder her aunt and uncle. Her aunt's dying words were to call Peter’s phone line. Rose did just that, leaving her normal life behind.
Peter is tasked with protecting Rose whose life is in danger because she saw one of the assassin's faces. During their time together, Rose finds out that her relatives are night agents. As the plot thickens, Peter and Rose discover a bigger problem: there is a mole in the White House trying to kill the President. They are determined to find who it is and protect the president at all costs. During this time a romance stirs up and the two find the scoundrel.

Season two carries the same action-packed intensity as season one, only this time the storyline is different. Peter gets promoted to night agent. With this promotion, Peter and Rose are separated when Peter goes on his first mission (mission: to track down an American agent accused of leaking secrets). Peter’s mission soon falls apart and he goes AWOL. He suspects someone within the government gave his mission away so he averts to hiding. Rose goes to find him using her coding skills. Now they are both in danger. He is trying to fight off bad guys, protect Rose, and figure out who revealed his mission from the White House. What will he do? This season will put you on the edge of your seat, pleading to find out who the mole is this time.
2. Season two of “The Night Agent” provides inclusivity. As stated before, in both seasons of Night Agent, Peter Sutherland and Rose Larkin appear in the series; however, there is a new group of people exposed. 3. “The Night Agent” season two also brings to the table sweet and soft romance. The two protagonists, Peter and Rose build a deep connection on their journey together. At the end of season one, they are in a romantic relationship, but when Peter leaves to begin his training as a night agent, they lose contact. In season two they meet again, unveiling their deep love and care for each other. If you like sweet moments and heartwarming scenarios you will love this season.
4. Season Two of “The Night Agent” is a must-watch because it is available on popular platforms. The series can be streamed on Netflix, your Roku device, or YouTube. For me, the most annoying part about watching seasons is trying to find them on free or popular streaming apps. With “The Night Agent,” there is no problem. 89.6 million people have Netflix, making this season super accessible. However, if you need a free place to watch this season, go onto YouTube and watch this binge-worthy watch.

5. Lastly, Night Agent, especially season two is highly recommended because it ends with a cliffhanger. With that being said, season three is officially coming out in early 2026! So start streaming this fast-paced and amusing show, so you can be caught up for next year's season.
To put it briefly, “The Night Agent” is the show to watch. In the future, when you’re in bed scrolling through Netflix trying to find an engaging and value-driven series to watch, press on Night Agent and tap into your inner special agent. I promise you won’t regret it.
