Ava

Ava is a junior in high school and this is her first year taking journalism. She loves writing and is excited to write about topics she is passionate about. Ava dances competitively and is a part of the Aurora Highlights. Performing on Friday nights with her closest friends are some of her favorite memories. She loves spending time with friends and family and playing with her dog, Karma. She is the oldest child and has a younger brother who is a freshman in high school named Cashton. She loves listening to music in her free time, specifically, Phoebe Bridgers, Tame Impala, Chappell Roan, and many more artists.  Ava sees dancing in her future, whether that is on a team, teaching, or choreographing. She hopes to attend a university after high school. Some of her top schools are UK, OSU, and Miami University. Ava is so happy to be a journalist for the school and to write for The Gambit this year!
