In a season defined by high-energy routines and fierce competition, the finale of “Dancing With the Stars” delivered a close race, one that ultimately crowned Robert Irwin as its newest winner.
Following in his sister Bindi’s footsteps, yet another Irwin has left a legacy in “Dancing With the Stars.” Aside from an outstanding season from Robert, Alix Earle, Jordan Chiles, Dylan Effron, and Elaine Hendrix all finished their season with high scores, high potential, and high-quality performances.
For Robert Irwin and his partner, Witney Carson, their dances impacted each audience member from the beginning to the end of each performance. Irwin has shown his full potential to all viewers with his emotion, technique, and amazing storytelling. With a strong finish of 89/90 for the finale, Irwin has truly shown a whole other version of himself.
Although she did not get the popular vote, Alix Earle and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, came in a close second with a score of 90/90 in the finale. Earle had outstanding growth this season, not just as a dancer but also as a person. From her contemporary to her jive performances, Earle has shown everyone her true passion for performance.
As an athlete herself, Team USA gymnast Jordan Chiles and her partner Ezra Sosa came in third place with a score of 89/90. Chiles, being a gymnast, has given her a slight idea of how to perform. Her performance style this season had amazed all audience members. Her partnership with Ezra Sosa became one of the show’s strongest, with the pair building standout routines through trust and high-energy choreography.
This season provided many outstanding performances, special moments, and a great outcome for all fans of the show. As many prepare for a 35th season, fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for the release of next season's cast, coming in September 2026. Many people are wondering, who will take the ballroom by storm next?
