SAT Countdown: 22 Green days and 12 full weeks until SATs on April 12
Thursday
We:
spent twenty minutes on our Khan Academy SAT Prep progress - either finishing the diagnostic tests in Reading/Writing or beginning on the Grammar and effective language use sections
For each section that people "leveled up" on, they wrote me a note about it (100 per level up badge)
filled out SAT QotD slips for the five minute segments that we spent on our SAT Prep (total of four slips)
had a discussion about our areas of weakness in reading - either determined by Khan Academy's diagnostic quizzes or by self-reflection
assigned stretch reading, based on a combination of "work your weakness" area but also career interests
began our forays into critical thinking by first thinking about the question: How do you think?
