Wednesday with 2B: (sorry I was so slow, y'all... Sad Face)

• SAT QotD (daily activity for Wednesdays - the only daily activity)
• Reviewing KWLHs for Whitman and Hughes
• Pinned and yarned the birthplaces of these two wonderful poets
• Completed a multi-layered, close analysis of the poems I Sing America and I, Too, Sing America

Homework: re-read I Sing America so we can hammer, quickly, through I, Too, Sing America

Thursday with 2G and 4G:

Same as above, but:

• 2G was in and out of the room because of picture day; and
• 4G had four athletes leave early.
• As a result, things were a bit compressed

Instead of the SAT QotD for the daily activity, 2G and 4G participated in our first MUGS pre-test, correction, and mini-lesson

Homework for both sections, due on Monday the 21st (both Greens) and Tuesday the 22nd (2Black):

• 1.4 writing prompt - only Prompt #1 - not Prompt #2 (for those of you who have missed the multi-layered analysis, I'll be making a quick vid for each poem so you will not have missed out on these analyses - important for this prompt - will be linked on ?Saturday?)
• read and do light annotation on 1.5

Homework for just 2B: be ready for an application quiz for the vocab you just received on Friday.
