Homework: 
- do the activity related to defining an American on p. 27 (part of Activity 1.6)
- answer the SAT QotD - look at the answers and right a reflection on it (I now see that the answer is _____ because ______)
- ?start studying first 25 vocab terms, if you want to work ahead - test will not be until next week: you have four options for it.

- SAT QotD
- finishing 1.5 and beginning the writing prompt on p. 24. We'll be using this prompt as a way of being sure we know how to use MLA format for ICEing excerpts and creating bibliographies
Friday, 9/25
- library orientation 
- making sure EasyBib accounts are set up
- receiving a list of vocab to study - there will be a broken up set of Quizlets here, soon, so you can study the first 25 and then the last 25
Homework: 
- read and do light annotation on Activity 1.7
- read and do medium annotation on yet another marvelous Langston Hughes poem: Let America Be America Again
- begin studying this vocabulary: you'll only be responsible for the first 25 on the sheet that I give you while we're at the library
