Tuesday October 27, 2015 (2Green and 4Green)
We had a 20 minute SSR of our two other required texts for the year: The Crucible and Into the Wild. Students also had the option to read a choice novel during this time.
Next, we had a Think>Pair>Share/Vote regarding the survey on page 54, relating to aspects of life in the U.S. that we see / don't see related to The American Dream. Interestingly, statement #12 "won" in both classes - 2Green and 4Green. Let's see what 2Black votes on during Wednesday's class! :)

Homework, due on Thursday October 29, 2015
Due on Monday November 2, 2015
Monday Oct. 26, 2015 (2Black)
I'll be out on Monday, as I've had a stomach bug for a few days now.
2Black > be prepared to do any of the remaining work from last week's "spillover" lesson plan. After that, please set yourselves up with a No Red Ink account (http://www.noredink.com). The class code is wvx899e9. There is a diagnostic test that you'll need to take once you've set your account up. It's easy to do...
If you have any spare time, use Khan Academy's SAT Prep materials for Reading and Writing. If you already have an account for your math class, just log in and email me your info so I can give you credit for your time. If you don't have an account, set one up, please. If none of that works, just log your activity on paper (how many questions you did, what classification the questions were, what you learned, etc.).
The rest of the week, we'll be working on Activities 1.11 - 1.18, working our way toward writing our second embedded assessment some time around Vet's Day. More later....
