November 13:

• As promised in your reading (and pre-warned on my course web site), we had a Socratic Seminar over the readings in Activity 1.9.

Homework:

• complete your Socratic Seminar reflection that I handed you today (it has two pages) <<4Green needs to pick this up on Friday 11-14 or download and fill out the attachment at the bottom of this post
• start your Embedded Assessment 1: Writing a Definition Essay - page 51 - we will work on it in class next week (we see each other Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
• write five discussion questions over your American Dream novel - these must NOT be yes/no, simple answer questions
• make sure to have ample annotation for your American Dream novel (this has been an ongoing assignment for a few weeks now...)

Work that is currently overdue, if you have not received a check for the assignment and a 100 in your timeliness grade:

Activity 1.8 writing prompt (this is a separate activity than merely finding the image and posting it to the Google Classroom)
