Everyone (#yolo, los pingüinos negros, and Lila Maus):

• reviewed the guiding questions and sentence frames for the double- and triple-entry journals;

I:

• wrote a DEJ for the story First Love, using the excerpt from the first paragraph ("I fell . . . secret love.")

We then broke off into our instructional groups...

• Please do independent work on 1.11 (Creating a Playlist for a Novel, p. 47); and
• work on your double-entry journals.

Homework:

1. finish 1.11; and
2. write three double-entry journals, focusing on Coming of Age.
