We will:
- insure that everyone can reach this web site, knows the URL, knows their Gmail account info, and has WiFi;
- deconstruct prompt on p. 11 for 1.3
- think about how you go from deconstructed prompts to drafting: what is your thinking process like?
- finish poetry analysis;
- buzz through the Roosevelt dedication speech, perhaps with sound;
- preview 1.4 and
1.5, deconstructing writing prompts; - NYK any 1.2 prompts I didn't look at during 4Green last time; and
- start 1.3 writing prompt in class.
Homework:
- finish your 1.2 writing prompt polishing;
- draft your 1.3 writing prompt, looking at all requirements that we specify in class;
- read all three poems in 1.4 - medium annotation; and
- read 1.5 with light annotation.
