Monday -
Learning Target-
Students will know the format of their film review (intro, summary, theme, film technique, and conclusion). Students will begin analyzing Jaws for theme and film technique.
Classroom activities -
* Take notes on Jaws' theme and film technique.
* Watch Jaws.
Homework -
Work on literary analysis of "Young Goodman Brown."
Evidence -
Students will answer specific questions on Jaws as we watch it, and I stop it on key scenes that illustrate theme or film technique. Students will ultimately apply what we learn to two films to analyze.
Tuesday -

* Watch second half of Jaws.
Homework -
Work on literary analysis of "Young Goodman Brown." Due tomorrow. Give students the rubric and assignment sheet. Send home permission slips for Little Miss Sunshine.
