Learning Target:
When students leave my classroom, they will been introduced to our final book: Seth Godin's Linchpin. The main ideas they will take away from Linchpin are - to be remarkable, to embody at least one of the seven ways to become a linchpin, how to apply their linchpin abilities to a career or field of their choice, and to recognize linchpins in their lives and their world.
Classroom Tasks:
I will introduce students to the book by a slideshow and short assignment calling for them to come up with three people they deem a linchpin.
Homework:
Read the introduction through page 38.
Evidence:
Students will complete a Prezi posting reactions to the reading and then have an in class discussion on Tuesday.
Tuesday (1.6)

Socratic discussion related to the reading from yesterday. Introduction to the final linchpin boards and assignment. Will be on display the final week of class.

Learning Target:
Students will have a work day to finish the fourth reading from Linchpin (pages 101-173) and to come up with ideas for their final Linchpin boards.
