Monday - Inception -

Learning Target - When students leave Mr. Reynolds class, they will have watched the film Inception on their own and answered this question in a short paragraph. Students will also have worked on developing a final draft of theme #3 (definition essay).
Classroom Activities - Students will respond to this short response question. Students will have time to develop their final draft of theme #3 (personal definition), which is due Tuesday.
Homework - Finish theme #3.
Evidence of Learning - Students will write and explain their take on the ending of Inception and then students will illustrate their personal definition in a 3-5 page, MLA paper.
Tuesday - Wednesday (LINC)
Learning Target - When students leave Mr. Reynolds class, they will have submitted their third theme and will have begun watching Inception in class again, examining it for key concepts.
Classroom Activities - Students will watch Inception a second time.
Homework - None
Evidence of Learning - Students will illustrate their theories on Inception in discussion on Thursday.

Evidence of Learning - Students will re-analyze their original take on Inception's end after reading various other theories on it.

Learning Target - When students leave Mr. Reynolds class, they will have begun writing their theme #4 (Inception analysis), which is due Monday.
Classroom Activities - Students will have time to write their essay. Go to this Storify link and analyze one theory regarding the film.
Homework - work on developing theme #4 (due Friday).
Evidence of Learning - Students will analyze the ending of Inception for plot complexity in a 3-5 page, MLA paper.
