Monday (1.12)
Learning Target:
When students leave my classroom, they will have discussed Godin's concept of "The Resistance" as it relates to Linchpin. They will share their discussion topics and then explore examples of the resistance and how it can relate to their lives on a Storify link, here.
Classroom Tasks:
Students will have an open forum to raise questions or comments related to the chapter. Then they will be called upon to share their discussion topic from Drive and expand on it. Students will then add their reactions to it. Finally, students will visit the Storify link above and choose one resource to evaluate and connect it to Godin's concept of the lizard brain.
Homework:
Read pages 173 to the end of the book.
Evidence:
Students will share respond to discussion questions and then begin working on their Linchpin boards and their final Linchpin paper (due next week).
Tuesday (1.13)
Learning Target:
When students leave my classroom, they will have finished Linchpin and begun applying the concepts to their lives via written assignments to be put on their final Linchpin boards. The requirements are here.
Classroom Tasks:
Final discussion and wrap up on Linchpin, revisit the ways one can become a LP. Share their resources for their final Linchpin papers, click here.
Homework:
Work on their Linchpin boards and preparing for their exist interviews at Digi Key on Jan. 20 and 21.
Evidence:
Students will display their Linchpin boards in the training room (pending approval) and then conduct their exit interviews at Digi Key next week.
Wednesday (1.14)
