Monday (9.15)
Learning Target:
To educate the rest of the class on the key concepts of Rule #3 (Turn Down a Promotion) from So Good They Can't Ignore You. Students will generate their own lessons for these.
Classroom Tasks:
Group 1 will generate their own tasks for Ch. 8 and 9.
Group 2 will generate their own tasks for Ch. 10 and 11.
*Each group will highlight one objective for each chapter that the class will learn. They will devise an activity to help us understand that concept.
Homework:
None
Evidence:
Students are in charge of gauging this for Ch. 8-11.
Tuesday (9.16)
Learning Target:

Group 3 will generate their own tasks for Ch. 12 and 13.
Group 4 will generate their own tasks for Ch. 14 and 15.

Students will engage ail college level non fiction texts assigned to them based on their interests. Students will learn to annotate texts with Sticky-Notes (minimum of 50). Students will devise one research topic from their readings to later write a hyper-text essay on.
Classroom tasks:
Bell work: State one pre-reading question for your book. Students will have the block to read and annotate their texts.
Homework:
Book must be finished by Wednesday of the following week.
Evidence of Learning:
Monitor their progress individually. Brief discussions on progress and struggles.
Thursday (9.18)
