Learning Target - Students will illustrate their understanding of the three barriers to finding their element via the Storify assignment. Students will begin reading Ch. 7 "Do You Feel Lucky" and complete a quiz on it.
Classroom Activities - Read The Element, Ch. 7 and complete the quiz.
Homework - Read Ch. 8 and complete this guide.
Evidence of Learning - Students will write short responses to how examples on the Storify assignment connect with examples of barriers stated in Ch. 6.
Tuesday - Students will illustrate their understanding of the role luck plays in one's element via a Kahoot quiz on Ch. 8.
Learning Target - Students will read Ch. 9 for Wednesday.
Classroom Activities - Read The Element, Ch.9 and take the reading check quiz on Wednesday.
Homework - Finish reading Ch. 9
Evidence of Learning - Students will illustrate how luck plays a role in finding their elements via the Kahoot quiz and via classroom discussion.
Wednesday -
Learning Target - Students will take a reading check quiz on Ch. 9 that focuses on the importance of mentors.
Classroom Activities - Write about someone they have either been mentored by or someone they themselves have mentored.
Homework - Finish the book over break.
Evidence of Learning - Students will illustrate the importance of mentors in their essay, particularly how they inspired them and how they motivate them.

Friday - No School
