Monday - April 3
Learning Target - Students will read Ch. of The Ghost Map ("That Is To Say, Jo Has Not Yet Died") and analyze the key people, key concepts, and big idea.
Classroom Activities - Quiz on Ch. 3. Read Ch. 4 and complete this guide. Then work on braiding essays 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3.
Homework - Finish reading Ch. 4 (quiz on Tuesday)
Evidence of Learning - Students will write short responses in the reading guide chronicling the key people, key concepts, and summarizing the big idea as well as connecting the events to the other chapters in the book.
Tuesday - April 4
Learning Target - Students will read Ch. 5 of The Ghost Map ("All Smell is Disease") and analyze the key people, key concepts, and big idea.
Classroom Activities - Quiz on Ch. 4. Read Ch. 5 and complete this guide. Work on braiding essays 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3.
Homework - Finish reading Ch. 5 (quiz on Wednesday)

Extra credit - read this article and write a paragraph explaining how it relates to the events of The Ghost Map. This must be shared with me by Wednesday at 10 am.
Wednesday - April 5 - LINC
Learning Target - Students will braid their essays together to make a coherent braided essay (theme #4).
Classroom Activities - Ch. 5 quiz. Braid their essays together. Free reading time.
Homework - Have a final draft of essay #4 due tomorrow.
Evidence of Learning - Students will turn in a completed braided essay tomorrow.
Extra credit - watch this short video and write a summary of it. Be sure to include at least three new facts you learned about cholera. This must be shared with me by Thursday at 10 am.
Thursday - April 6
Learning Target - Students will read Ch. 6 of The Ghost Map ("Building the Case") and analyze the key people, key concepts, and big idea.
Classroom Activities - Turn in their braided essays. Read Ch. 6 and complete the chapter guide.
Homework - Finish reading Ch. 6 (quiz on Friday)
