1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

3 And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
3 ᎼᏏᏃ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏤᏙᎲ ᏭᎶᏒᎩ, ᏱᎰᏩᏃ ᏓᏳᏯᏅᎲᎩ ᎣᏓᎸᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏅᏓᏳᏪᏒᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᎩᏪᏏ ᏤᎦᏈ ᎤᏂᏠᏱ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎩᏪᏏ ᎢᏏᎵ ᏧᏪᏥ:

4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
Ꮞ ᎢᏥᎪᎲ ᎢᏥᏡᏱ ᎠᏁᎯ ᏂᎦᏥᏴᏁᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᏨᏂᏙᎸ ᎠᏬᎭᎵ ᏗᎧᏃᎨᏂ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᏨᏯᏘᏃᎸ ᎠᏕᏒ ᎾᏆᏛᏅᎢ.

5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
5 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎢᏳ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᏱᏣᏛᏓᏍᏔᏅ ᏥᏁᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏱᏥᏍᏆᏂᎪᏔᏅ ᎠᏆᏤᎵ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᏓᏠᎯᏍᏛᎢ, ᎿᏉ ᎦᎸᏉᏗ ᏧᎬᏩᎶᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏕᏨᏯᎦᏂᏍᎬᎢ, ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᎾᏂᎥ ᏴᏫ; ᏂᎬᎾᏛᏰᏃ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎠᏆᏤᎵᎦ.

6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
6 ᎠᎴ ᏗᏆᏤᎵ ᏅᏓᏣᎵᏍᏔᏂ ᎢᏥᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎠᏥᎸᎢᏤᎶᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᏥᎸᏉᏔᏅᎯ ᎢᏣᏓᏤᎵᏛ. ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎩᏃᎮᎮᏗ ᏥᎩ ᎢᏏᎵ ᏧᏪᏥ.

7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the Lord commanded him.
7 ᎼᏏᏃ ᎤᎷᏨᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏫᏚᏯᏅᎲᎩ ᏧᎾᏛᏐᏅᎯ ᏴᏫ ᏧᎾᏤᎵᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏂᏚᏩᏁᎸᎩ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎯᎠ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᏱᎰᏩ ᎤᏁᏤᎸᎯ.

8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the Lord hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the Lord.
8 ᏂᎦᏛᏃ ᏴᏫ ᎤᎴᏃᏅᎯ ᎤᏂᏁᏨᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎩ, ᏂᎦᏛ ᏱᎰᏩ ᏃᎩᏪᏎᎸ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏓᏲᏣᏛᏁᎵ. ᎼᏏᏃ ᏄᏂᏪᏒ ᏴᏫ ᏭᏃᏁᎸᎩ ᏱᎰᏩ.

9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord.
9 ᏱᎰᏩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ ᎼᏏ. ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᏓᎬᎷᏤᎵ, ᏥᏯᎡᏍᏗ ᎤᎭᎨᏛ ᎤᎶᎩᎸᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏴᏫ ᎤᎾᏛᎪᏗᏱ ᎬᏬᏁᏔᏅᎭ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎨᏦᎯᏳᏗᏱ ᏂᎩᎯᎸᎢ. ᎼᏏᏃ ᏄᏂᏪᏒ ᏴᏫ ᏱᎰᏩ ᏭᏃᏁᎸᎩ.

10 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,
10 ᏱᎰᏩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ ᎼᏏ, ᎮᎾ ᏴᏫ ᏗᏁᏙᎲᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏫᎩᏯᏛᏅᎢᏍᏓ ᎪᎯ ᎢᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᏑᎾᎴᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏫᏓᏅᎩᎶᏨ ᏧᎾᏄᏬᎢ,
10 yihowano hia nuweselvgi mosi, hena yvwi dinedohvi, ale wigiyadvnvisda gohi iga, ale sunalei, ale widanvgilotsv tsunanuwoi,
11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
11 ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏛᏅᎢᏍᏘᏌᏛ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏦᎢᏁ ᎢᎦ ᎠᏍᏆᎸᎲᎭ; ᏦᎢᏁᏰᏃ ᎢᎦ ᏱᎰᏩ ᏛᎩᎸᏂᎵ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏓᏂᎧᏅ ᏌᎾᏱ.
11 ale unadvnvistisadv gesesdi tsoine iga asqualvhvha; tsoineyeno iga yihowa dvgilvnili nigadv yvwi danikanv sanayi
12 And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
12 ᎠᎴ ᎩᏯᏟᎶᎡᎸᎭ ᎬᏩᏚᏫᏛ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏁᏓᏍᏗᏱ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᎩᏪᏎᎸᎭ, ᎢᏣᏓᏯᏫᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎢᏨᏒ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎢᏥᎿᎷᏒᎩ ᎣᏓᎢᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎠᎦᏐᎠᏍᎬ ᎢᏣᏒᏂᎸᎩ; ᎩᎶ ᎠᏒᏂᎮᏍᏗ ᎠᏎ ᎠᏥᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ;
12 ale giyatliloelvha gvwaduwidv yvwi unedasdiyi, hia nigiweselvha, itsadayawisgesdi itsvsv, nasgi tlesdi itsihnalusvgi odailvi, ale tlesdi agasoasgv itsasvnilvgi; gilo asvnihesdi ase atsiisdi gesesdi;
13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.
13 ᎾᏍᏉ ᎩᎶ ᎤᏬᏰᏂ ᎤᏒᏂᏍᏙᏗ ᎢᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏎ ᏅᏯ ᏣᎬᏂᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᎬᏩᎶᏒᎯ ᎠᏥᏲᏍᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎦᎾᏜᎢᏉ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏴᏫ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎠᏎ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏱᎬᏁᏍᏗ; ᎠᏤᎷᎯᏍᏗ ᎤᏃᏴᎳᏒᎭ, ᎣᏓᎸ ᎤᏂᎷᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
13 nasquo gilo uwoyeni usvnisdodi igesesdi, nasgi ase nvya tsagvnisdodi gesesdi, ale digvwalosvhi atsiyosdi gesesdi, ganadlaiquo nasquo gesesdi, ale yvwi gesesdi, ase tlesdi yigvnesdi; atseluhisdi unoyvlasvha, odalv uniluhisdi gesesdi
14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
1Ꮞ ᎼᏏᏃ ᎤᎦᏐᎠᏒᎩ ᎣᏓᎵ ᏴᏫ ᏗᏁᏙᎲ ᏭᎷᏨᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏛᏅᎢᏍᏔᏅᎩ ᏴᏫ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏅᎩᎶᎥᎩ ᏧᎾᏄᏬᎢ.
14 mosino ugasoasvgi odali yvwi dinedohv wulutsvgi, ale dudvnvistanvgi yvwi, ale dunvgilovgi tsunanuwoi
15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.
15 ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ ᏴᏫ, ᎢᏣᏛᏅᎢᏍᏗᏌᏛ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏦᎢᏁ ᎢᎦ ᎠᎵᏰᎢᎶᎸᎭ: ᏞᏍᏗ ᎠᎨᏴ ᎾᎥ ᎡᏥᎷᏤᎸᎭ.
15 ale hia niduweselvgi yvwi, itsadvnvisdisadv gesesdi tsoine iga aliyeilolvha: tlesdi ageyv nav etsilutselvha
16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
16 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎩ ᏦᎢᏁ ᎢᎦ ᏑᎾᎴᎢ, ᎤᏴᏓᏆᎶᎥᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᎦᎸᎲᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎭᎨᏛ ᎤᎶᎩᎳᏛᎩ ᎣᏓᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏤᎷᎩ ᎤᏣᏔᏅᎯ ᎠᏍᏓᏱᏳ ᎤᏃᏴᎳᏒᎩ, ᏂᎦᏛᏰᏃ ᏴᏫ ᏂᎬᎾᏛ ᎠᏂᏅ ᏚᏂᎾᎶᎩ.

17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
17 ᎼᏏᏃ ᎠᏂᏅ ᏚᏄᎪᏫᏒᎩ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏚᎾᏠᏒᏒᎩ;: ᎠᎦᏐᎠᏏᎯᎲᏃ ᎣᏓᎸ ᎤᎾᎴᎿᏫᏍᏔᏅᎩ.
17 mosino aninv dunugowisvgi yvwi unelanvhi dunatlosvsvgi;: agasoasihihvno odalv unalehnawistanvgi
18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
18 ᏌᎾᏱᏃ ᎣᏓᎸ ᏂᎬ ᏚᎦᏒᏍᏛᎩ, ᏅᏓᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎬᎩ ᏱᎰᏩ ᎤᎩᎸᏂᎸᎢ ᎠᏥᎸ ᎤᏄᏬᏍᏛᎢ: ᏧᎦᏒᏍᏗᏃ ᎠᎵᏌᎳᏗᏍᎬᎩ ᏔᎷᎩᏍᎩ ᎬᎾᏬᏙᏗᏱ ᏥᏚᎦᏒᏍᏙ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏒᎩ, ᏂᎬᏃ ᎣᏓᎸ ᎤᏣᏔᏅᎯ ᎤᎵᏖᎸᏅᎩ.
18 sanayino odalv nigv dugasvsdvgi, nvdagalisdodisgvgi yihowa ugilvnilvi atsilv unuwosdvi: tsugasvsdino alisaladisgvgi talugisgi gvnawododiyi tsidugasvsdo nasgiya gesvgi, nigvno odalv utsatanvhi ulitelvnvgi
19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
19 ᎿᏉᏃ ᎠᏤᎷᎩ ᎪᎯᏗᏳ ᎤᏃᏴᎳᏒ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏣᏔᏅᎯ ᎠᏍᏓᏱᏳ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏗᏍᎬᎢ, ᎼᏏ ᎤᏁᏨᎩ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏃ ᏓᏳᏁᏤᎸᎩ ᏰᎵ ᎬᏛᎪᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
19 hnaquono atselugi gohidiyu unoyvlasv, ale utsatanvhi asdayiyu nigalisdisgvi, mosi unetsvgi, unelanvhino dayunetselvgi yeli gvdvgodi gesvi
20 And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
20 ᏱᎰᏩᏃ ᎤᏠᎠᏒᎩ ᎣᏓᎸ ᏌᎾᏱ ᎤᎩᎸᏂᎸᎩ ᎣᏓᎸ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ; ᏱᎰᏩᏃ ᏓᏳᏯᏅᎲᎩ ᎼᏏ ᎣᏓᎸ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ: ᎼᏏᏃ ᎤᎿᎷᏒᎩ.
20 yihowano utloasvgi odalv sanayi ugilvnilvgi odalv galvladi; yihowano dayuyanvhvgi mosi odalv galvladi: mosino uhnalusvgi
21 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the Lord to gaze, and many of them perish.
21 ᏱᎰᏩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ ᎼᏏ, ᎭᏠᎠᎯ, ᏫᏖᏯᏔᎲᎦ ᏴᏫ, ᏯᏂᎦᏛᎴᎯᏰᏃ ᏱᎰᏩ ᎡᏙᎲ ᎤᎾᎦᏙᏍᏙᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᏱᏓᏂᏲᎱᎯ.
21 yihowano hia nuweselvgi mosi, hatloahi, witeyatahvga yvwi, yanigadvlehiyeno yihowa edohv unagadosdodiyi, ale unitsati yidaniyohuhi
22 And let the priests also, which come near to the Lord, sanctify themselves, lest the Lord break forth upon them.
22 ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᏱᎰᏩ ᎾᎥ ᎠᏂᎷᏤᎯ, ᏩᎾᏓᏅᎦᎸ, ᏱᎰᏩᏰᏃ ᏯᎦᏛᎴᎯ ᎠᏁᏙᎲᎢ.
22 ale nasquo atsilv-anelohi yihowa nav anilutsehi, wanadanvgalv, yihowayeno yagadvlehi anedohvi.
23 And Moses said unto the Lord, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
23 ᎼᏏᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ ᏱᎰᏩ, ᎥᏝ ᏰᎵ ᎣᏓᎸ ᏌᎾᏱ ᏴᎬᏂᎷᎩ ᏴᏫ; ᏨᏍᎩᏁᏤᎸᏰᏃ, ᎯᎠ ᏥᏅᏣᏪᏒᎩ, ᎢᏣᏟᎶᎢᏛ ᎣᏓᎸ ᎬᏩᎦᏫᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᏂᏨᎦ.

24 And the Lord said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the Lord, lest he break forth upon them.
2Ꮞ ᏱᎰᏩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ, ᎮᎾ, ᎭᏠᎠᎯ; ᎠᎴ ᏔᎩᎳᏩᏒᎭ ᏂᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᎳᏂ ᎢᏍᏕᎮᏍᏗ; ᎠᏥᎸᏍᎩᏂᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏴᏫ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎤᏂᎦᏛᎴᏒᎭ ᎤᏂᎿᎷᏒᎭ ᏭᏄᎷᏤᏗᏱ ᏱᎰᏩ, ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᏯᎦᏛᎴᎯ ᎠᏁᏙᎲᎢ.

25 So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.
25 ᎰᏩᏃ ᎼᏏ ᎤᎦᏐᎠᏏᎸᎩ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏁᏙᎲᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏬᏁᏔᏅᎩ.
