And it came to pass, when the YHWH would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁ, ᏀᎢᏳ ᎠᎦᎷᎦ ᎬᏗ ᎢᎳᏣ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏗᏘᏅᏍᏔᏂᏒ ᏱᎰᏩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎩᎵᎨᎵ ᎤᏂᎩᏎ ᎢᎳᏣ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎳᏌ ᎤᎾᎵᎪᏎᎢ.

hiano nulistane, nahiyu agaluga gvdi ilatsa galvladi ditinvstanisv yihowa, nasgi giligeli unigise ilatsa nasgi ilasa unaligosei.

2 And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the YHWH hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the YHWH liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.

ᎠᎴ ᎢᎳᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴ ᎢᎳᏣ, ᎠᏂ ᎭᏗᎩᏯ, ᎬᏔᏲᏎᎭ, ᏇᏗᎡᎵ ᏰᏃ ᎠᎩᏅᎵ ᏱᎰᏩ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴ ᎢᎳᏌ, ᏥᏄᏙᎯᏳᎭ ᎡᎲ ᏱᎰᏩ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᎲ ᏥᎩ ᏂᎯ ᏣᏓᏅᏙ, ᎥᏝ ᏴᎦᎬᏴᏕᎩ. ᎾᏏᏃ ᏇᏘᎡᎵ ᎤᏫᏂᎦᏐᎠᏏᎴᎢ,

3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the YHWH will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎨᏍᎩ ᏨᏁᏥ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏇᏕᎡᎵ ᏄᎾᏛᏅ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎳᏌ ᏨᏂᏄᎪᏤᎴ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎴᎢ;ᎯᎦᏔᎭᏨ ᎪᎯᏃ Ꮙ ᎢᎦ ᎨᏒ ᏘᏯᏁᎶᏗ ᏣᏅᏍᎯᏙᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏓᏣᏴᏅᎡᎵᏒ ᏱᎰᏩ? ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ nᏳᏪᏎᎵ, ᎥᎥ, ᏥᎦᏔᎭ; ᎢᏣᎵᏙᎯᏍᏓᏉᏂᎯ.

4 And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the YHWH hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the YHWH liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.

ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴ ᎢᎳᏣ, ᎢᎳᏌ, ᎭᏗᎩᏯ ᎠᏂ, ᎬᏔᏲᏎᎭ, tᏍᎵᎪ ᏴᏃ ᎠᏇᏅᏍᏗ ᎠᎩᏅᎵ ᏱᎰᏩ. ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎤᏪᏎᎢ, ᏥᏄᏙᎯᏳᎭ ᎡᎲ ᏱᎰᏩ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᎲ ᏥᎩ ᏂᎯ ᏣᏓᏅᏙ, ᎥᏝ ᏴᎦᎬᏴᏕᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏤᎵᎪ ᏭᏂᎷᏤᎢ.

5 And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the YHWH will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᏨᏁᏥ ᏤᎵᎪ ᏄᎾᏛᏅ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎳᏌ ᎬᏩᎷᏤᎵᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎯᎦᏔᎭᏨ ᎪᎯᏉ ᎢᎦ ᎨᏒ ᏘᏯᏁᎶᏗ ᏣᏅᏍᎯᏙᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏓᏣᏴᏅᎡᎵᏒ ᏱᎰᏩ? ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏚᏬᎯᎵᏴᎡᎴᎢ, ᎥᎥ, ᏥᎦᏔᎭ, ᎢᏣᎵᏙᎯᏍᏓᏉ ᏂᎯ.

6 And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the YHWH hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the YHWH liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.

ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎤᏪᏎᎴ ᎢᎳᏣ, ᎭᏗᎩᏯ ᎠᏂ, ᎬᏔᏲᏎᎭ; ᏦᏓᏂ ᏰᏃ ᎠᏇᏅᏍᏗ ᎠᎩᏅᎵ ᏱᎰᏩ. ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᏥᏄᏙᎯᏳᎭ ᎡᎲ ᏱᎰᏩ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᎲ ᏥᎩ ᏂᎯ ᏣᏓᏅᏙ, ᎢᏝ ᏴᎦᎬᏴᏕᎩ. ᎠᎴ ᏂᎬᎾᎢᏎᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ.

ale hia niuwesele ilatsa, hadigiya ani, gvtayoseha; tsodani yeno aquenvsdi aginvli yihowa. nasgino hia nuwesei, tsinudohiyuha ehv yihowa, ale ehv tsigi nihi tsadanvdo, itla yvgagvyvdegi. ale nigvnaisequo nasgi anitali.

7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.

ᎠᎴ ᎯᏍᎦᏍᎪᎯ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᏨᏁᏥ ᎤᏁᏅᏎ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏅ ᎬᎴᎯ ᎤᎾᎦᏙᏗ ᎤᎾᎴᎿᏫᏍᏕᎢ: ᎠᎴ ᏦᏓᏂ ᎤᎵᏗᏟ ᏓᏂᏙᎨ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ.

ale hisgasgohi iyanidv anisgaya nasgi anadolehosgi tsvnetsi unenvse, ale inv gvlehi unagadodi unalehnawisdei: ale tsodani uliditli danidoge nasgi anitali.

8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.

ᎠᎴ ᎦᏓᎢ ᎤᏄᏬᏍᏗ ᎤᏮᏔᏁ ᎢᎳᏣ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏰᏈᏛᏁ. ᎠᎴ ᎠᎹᏱ ᎤᏩᏂᎴᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏂᏗᏟ ᎠᏃ ᎤᏗᏗᏟ ᏚᎦᎴᏅᎮᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᎧᏲᏛ ᎦᏙᎯ ᏚᏂᏐᏤ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏨᎳ.

ale gadai unuwosdi uwvtane ilatsa, ale duyequidvne. ale amayi uwanilei, ale nasgi aniditli ano udiditli dugalenvhei, nasgino ukayodv gadohi dunisotse nasgi itsvla.

9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁ, ᎾᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏨᏂᏐᏦᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎳᏌ ᎢᎳᏣ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎯᏔᏲᎭ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎢᎬᏯᏛᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᏏ ᏗᎩᎾᎦᎴᏅᏗᏍᎩ ᏅᎩᎾᏫᏗᏍᎬᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏪᏎ ᎢᎳᏌ ᎬᏔᏲᏎᎭ ᏩᏆᏐᎥᎦ ᏂᎯ ᏄᏍᏛ ᏣᏓᏅᏖᏗ ᏥᎩ ᏔᎵ ᎢᏳᏩdᎫᏗ ᎢᎦᎢ.

ale nasgi nulistane, naquo nasgi tsvnisotsonvhi gesv, nasgi ilasa ilatsa hia nuweselei, hitayoha iyusdi igvyadvnedi gesvi, asi diginagalenvdisgi nvginawidisgvna gesvi, hiano nuwese ilasa gvtayoseha waquasovga nihi nusdv tsadanvtedi tsigi tali iyuwadgudi igai.

10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.

ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᎤᏪᏎᎢ, ᎠᏍᏓᏱᏳᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏔᏲᎭ: ᎠᏎ ᎠᏗᎾ, ᎢᏳ ᏂᎯ ᏍgᎪᏩᏘᏍᎨᏍᏗᏀᎢᏳ ᏗᎩᎾᎦᎴᏅᏗᏍᎩ ᎥgᎾᏫᏛᎲ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏓᏣᎵᏍᏓᏁᎵ; ᎢᏳᏃ ᏱᏝ, ᎥᏝ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᏄᏍᏕᏍᏗ.

hiano niuwesei, asdayiyuquo nasgi tsitayoha: ase adina, iyu nihi sggowatisgesdinahiyu diginagalenvdisgi vgnawidvhv nasgi nvdatsalisdaneli; iyuno yitla, vtla nasgi yinusdesdi.

11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁ, ᎠᏏ ᎠᎾᎢᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᎵzᎣᎮᏍᎬ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᎤᎾᏄᎪᏤ ᎠᏥᎸ ᎪᏟᎯ ᏓᏆᎴᎷ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏥᎸ ᏗᎪᏟᎯ ᏐᏛᎵ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏚᎾᎦᏨᏅᏔᏁ ᎢᏨᎳ; ᎠᎦᎷᎦᏃ ᎬᏗ ᎤᎵᏌᎳᏓᎾ ᎢᎳᏣ ᎦᎸᎶ ᏭᏴᎴᎢ.

ale hia nasgi nulistane, asi anaisvi, ale analizohesgv, nasgi gvniyuquo, unanugotse atsilv gotlihi daqualelu, ale atsilv digotlihi sodvli, ale iyvdv dunagatsvnvtane itsvla; agalugano gvdi ulisaladana ilatsa galvlo wuyvlei.

12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.

ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎪᎮ ᎢᎳᏌ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ, ᎡᏙᏓ, ᎡᏙᏓ, ᎢᏏᎵ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎾᏤᎵᎦ ᏓᏆᎴᎷ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏤᎯ ᏐᏓᎵ ᏗᎾᎩᎸᏗᏍᎩ! ᎠᎴ ᏭᏩᎫᏛ ᎥᏝ ᏳᎪᎮᎢ: ᎠᎴ ᎤᏩᏒ ᏨᏄᏬᎩ ᏚᏂᏴᎮ ᎠᎴ ᏔᎵ ᏂᏚᏩᏕ ᏚᏪᏣᎦᎸᎢᏎᎢ.

ale nasgi ugohe ilasa, ale ulistanei, edoda, edoda, isili nasgi unatseliga daqualelu, ale nasgi tsehi sodali dinagilvdisgi! ale wuwagudv vtla yugohei: ale uwasv tsvnuwogi duniyvhe ale tali niduwade duwetsagalvisei.

13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;

ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏓᏳᏙᎠᎯᏎᎸᎯ ᎢᎳᏣ ᎦᏚᎢ ᎤᏄᏬᎥᎯ ᎤᏁᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᎤᏨᏎ ᎠᎴ ᏦᏓᏂ ᎤᏩᏝᎥ ᎾᎥ ᎤᏓᎴᏁᎢ.

ale nasquo nasgi nvdayudoahiselvhi ilatsa gadui unuwovhi unesei, ale diutsvse ale tsodani uwatlav nav udalenei.

14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the YHWH God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

ᎠᎴ ᎢᎳᏣ ᎦᏚᎢ ᎤᏄᏬᎥᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏙᎠᎯᏎᎸᎯ ᎤᏮlᏔᏁ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎹᏱ ᏩᏂᎴ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ. ᎭᏟ ᏄᏛᏅ ᎢᎳᏣ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ ᏱᎰᏩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ? ᎾᏆᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏍᏉ ᎠᎹᏱ ᎤᏩᏂᎸᎯ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅ. ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏂᏗᏟ ᎠᏃ ᎤᏗᏗᏟᎢ ᏚᎦᎴᏅᎮᎢ: ᎠᎴ ᏚᏪᏐᏤ ᎢᎳᏌ.

ale ilatsa gadui unuwovhi nasgi udoahiselvhi uwvltane, ale nasgi amayi wanile, ale hia nuwesei. hatli nudvnv ilatsa utseliga yihowa unelanvhi? naquale nasgi usquo amayi uwanilvhi nulistanv. nasgi aniditli ano udiditlii dugalenvhei: ale duwesotse ilasa.

15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

ᎠᎴ ᎿᏉ ᎬᏩᎪᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏤᎵᎪᎢ ᏅᏓᏳᎾᎦᏙᏍᏔᏅᎯ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᏨᏁᏥ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎳᏣ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎢᎳᏌ ᎤᏐᏅ. ᎠᎴ ᏙᏗᎬᏩᏠᏒᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏛᏅ ᎢᎬᏱᏗᏟ ᎦᏙᎯ ᎢᏴᏓ ᎡᎳᏗ ᏂᎬᏩᏛᏁᎴᎢ.

ale hnaquo gvwagoha nasgi tseligoi nvdayunagadostanvhi anadolehosgi tsvnetsi anisgaya, hia nuniwesei, nasgi ilatsa utseliga adanvdo ilasa usonv. ale dodigvwatlosvsei, ale nasgi nudvnv igvyiditli gadohi iyvda eladi nigvwadvnelei.

16 And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the Spirit of the YHWH hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send.

17 And when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, Send. They sent therefore fifty men; and they sought three days, but found him not.

18 And when they came again to him, (for he tarried at Jericho,) he said unto them, Did I not say unto you, Go not?

19 And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.

20 And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.

21 And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the YHWH, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.

22 So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.

24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the YHWH. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

25 And he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria.
