POLICIES
IMPORTANT: THE SHOPPING CART TOTAL does not reflect the amount due upon arrival for your tour. ReserveCalifornia only makes reservations; it does not collect money (thus the $0 balance). Please read below and be prepared to pay upon arrival.

Reservations and Cancellations
• A maximum of 12 venues may be reserved per telephone call.
• Upon arrival at each facility, you must present your confirmation letter.
• To cancel a reservation for a commercial/school group call 866-240-4655, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7 days a week.

Fees/Fee Waivers
• All commercial reservations can be made through Sutter’s Fort. Please call group coordinator at 916-445-3755, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
• Cancellation fees apply.
• Only K-12 non-commercial school/youth groups will receive a fee waiver with a confirmed reservation.
NO SHOWS – Due to the number of no shows at the Historic Sites venues, groups that fail to show for a reserved venue will be invoiced $25 per no show no call. If you are unable to attend a
scheduled visit, please be considerate and cancel your reservation. For cancellations, please call the park Kiosk at 916-445-4422. A no show will prevent others from enjoying the experience and increase costs to the State.
DIRECTIONS
Traveling on I-80, from San Francisco, take Business 80/Hwy 50 east. Take the Business 80 exit (north towards Reno) to the N Street turn off. Travel straight on 30th Street then turn left under the freeway at L Street to the Fort, which will be located on your right. Monday - Saturday, bring quarters for the parking meters. Parking is free on Sundays
TOUR NOTES
Sutter's Fort Self-Guided School Tour:
• School groups with a reservation pay no fees.
• Groups are required to have a minimum of one adult chaperone for every ten children.
• Entry fees for a school drop-in group are $5/adults and $3/youths (age 6-17).
• Reservations are for K-12 school groups ONLY (no commercial tour companies, no adult groups).
• This is a Self-Guided Tour ONLY.
• Groups will receive a short orientation from a staff person when they arrive at the Museum.

If a group requests more than 50 tickets, please book as many different tour time slots as needed to accommodate the total group size. The Park will coordinate final tour logistics with the group upon arrival.

• Minimum group size is 15 and the maximum is 50 persons per scheduled tour time, including children and chaperones: 1 adult per 10 children, one group per tour.
• If a reservation goes over 80 persons, a $5 fee applies to each extra adult.
• No food or drink except bottled water allowed.
• Rules: no running and no rough housing. Students need to remain with their chaperones at all times.
• Repeated rule breaking may result in your group being asked to leave the Museum.
• The booking window for Sutter's Fort is 48 hours.
