Beginning April 14, 2025, Folsom Lake and Lake Clementine will be closed to all trailered or motorized vessels unless the vessel has completed a mandatory 30-day quarantine. This new policy is part of the Golden Mussel Prevention Program.
From April 14, 2025, all boats must undergo a 30-day quarantine before launching.
Starting May 14, 2025, all trailered or motorized vessels must have an intact and verified quarantine and/or decontamination seal to enter either body of water.
Swimming and paddling remain allowed.
Camping remains open at all locations. ❗This is an FYI only—cancellations are not being proactively processed.❗
Cancellation fees may be waived at the following campgrounds:

Auburn SRA

Folsom Lake Glamping
