Guidelines for your visit to the Hearst Castle Visitor Center & Hearst Castle Theater
• Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your tour time.
• Students & Teachers/Chaperones backpacks and lunch boxes can be left at the Hearst Castle Theater while on tour.
• Please be at the bus-boarding gate (Gate 1) at least 10 minutes prior to your time.
• Each Student & Teacher/Chaperone needs to be wearing a wristband.
• Only bottled water is allowed on tour.
• All electronic devices must be turned off.
• If your group plans to watch the movie Building the Dream at the Hearst Castle Theater, please arrive at the theater lobby 10 minutes prior to the movie time.
• No food, drink or chewing gum allowed in the theater building.
• As a courtesy to other visitors, please keep noise levels down in the theater lobby and please be quiet in the theater.
Note: Tickets include the 40-minute movie Building the Dream at the Hearst Castle Theater located at the Hearst Castle Visitor Center. The movie is available before or after the tour.
