To view the activities on California State Parks Activities page visit https://reservecalifornia.com/Web/Activities/ProgramsAndTours.aspx
First click on the Activities tab in the upper right corner of Neptune.
When the Activities page loads, you are brought to a searchable Catalog.
To ensure we have the appropriate rules for this Activity, open the Historic Sites Knowledge Base article and select the Historic Site the caller wishes to book. Notice the naming convention in the left navigation bar. This is the Activity we will search for in Neptune.
In this Example we are creating a Commercial/General Public reservation at Marshall Gold SHP.
After Searching for the Activity you will be presented with any matching results.
Notice we can see the Name of the Activity in the Blue Header line.
The top result is a Commercial/General Public Activity as it's titled (C), whereas the second result is a School Activity as it's titled with a (S).
In this example we are reserving for a Commercial Group.
Below this, we can see the Date Range of the Activity, and the Time in which this Activity is available.
Click on the event to select this activity and locate the guests account.
From the Search Customer window, search for and verify the guest.
After selecting the guest and confirming they are listed in the top left corner, select the event again by clicking on it.
From the Event Pre-cart, we can select the Date the guest is interested in.
Notice as we change the date, it displays the Availability in the bottom left corner.
After confirming the date the guest is interested and verifying the availability, we can then enter the number of tickets.
Before pushing this to the cart, let's ask the guest to Reverse Verify their request. Providing the name of the Activity, the Date and Time.
If everything matches our Pre-Cart, you can click Go To Shopping Cart.
Before tending the cart take note of the customer in the top left corner.
If you do not have a guest selected, this tour will not tie to the guests account.
To correct this, click on System Customer to search for a guest and recreate the reservation.
After ensuring the guests verified account is attached to the Tour Reservation, you may Tender Cart as usual.
Note: Fees are not collected at the time the reservations are made. Fees are collected upon arrival at the park.
Upon tendering the cart, you may be presented with a Waiver Agreement. You will relay this information to the guest, confirm they agree, check the box and hit Ok.
