To search for a guests account, first select the magnifying glass icon next to the Search for Customers field located to the far left in the header of Neptune.
There are 3 pieces of information that can be used to search for a customer:
Name
Phone Number
Customer e-mail address
You will either receive a listing of possible matches or a message that it cannot be found. If no matches are found, you may want to try searching with a different piece of information.
After verifying the guest, to view the Household, select the guests account by clicking on the line item that contains the guests profile information.
Note: If the caller identifies themselves as the spouse of the account holder AND the caller is designated as a spouse under the customer’s account, this person has authority to act on behalf of the account holder. Example: Eric Wirzberg is calling to make/change/cancel a reservation under Vanessa Hyles's account. Eric is listed as a spouse and therefore has authority to act on Vanessa's behalf.
Once certain there is not an existing customer account, click on New Household to collect and Create a New Customer Account.
