Often times our guests will use a mobile device to make a reservation or access their account online. This can make navigating the client difficult as the appearance of the web version vs the mobile version will vary.
To view the mobile version of any website, simply right-click on the page and select Inspect.
To the left side of the page, a file navigation window will appear. This may look kind of intimidating.
We are looking for the icon at the top of the page near the middle. The icon looks like a monitor and cell phone. Click on this icon.
You will notice the dimensions of the page narrowing on the right-hand side of your window.
This is the mobile appearance of the site. While we can't navigate here (clicking or advancing to a new page) we can scroll to direct the guest appropriately.
For instance, on the left, we see the desktop version, and on the right, we see the mobile version.
If we directed a guest to access the Travel Ideas image which appears in the middle of two images on the desktop version, you will notice how for the mobile version it's actually the third image down.
When directing the guest to the map, you might advise you will see the map on the right-hand side (as this is what we see in the desktop version).
For the mobile version, the guest will actually need to scroll past ALL of the sites to the very bottom to view the map.
