Confirm a Reservation
There are multiple ways in which we can search for a customer's reservation via the Grid & Journal.
Navigate to the Quick Search field in Neptune. Type in the confirmation number and hit enter or click on the magnifying glass icon. The grid will refresh and the reservation you searched will highlight.
Once the reservation has been located, click on the blue <<'s to the far right side to open the Reservation Details.
Click on the Printer Icon to load the receipt.
Scroll to the bottom of the receipt and select Email All Copies.
Navigate to the Quick Search field in Neptune. Type in the last name first, (with a comma) followed by the first letters of the account holders first name. The grid will refresh and highlight the customers active reservation. In the example below, the customer only has one active reservation. Let's see an example in which the customer has multiple reservations.
In the example below, this customer has multiple reservations. After searching by name, we would then probe the caller for the name of the State Park and their arrival date to narrow this down.
The final way to search for a reservation via the grid, is simply asking the caller for the name of the State Park, the site number and the arrival date. Navigate to this reservation by utilizing the State Park search and date search.
To access the Journal, first open up the tray by selecting the 9 square in the bottom left corner of Neptune.
Click on the Journal icon.
We can then search by Confirmation number, by selecting the Confirmation Number button.
You can search by customer name, phone or email by selecting the Customer button.
To view the receipt for the transaction, double click on the associated line item. This will load the receipt, in which we can identify the reservation details, any changes that were made and how the transaction was tendered.
In the event you need to resend the confirmation to the guest, you can scroll to the bottom of the receipt and select Email.
From here you can validate the email address we have on file and process the receipt to the guest by hitting Email and Send.
