EVENT PRECART: Indian State Museum can only host 1 group per time slot. To prevent multiple groups from booking the system will state only 1 seat is available per session. For this reason, enter 1 under Adults for Commercial Groups and 1 under School for School Groups.

• Museum staff reserves the right to cancel and/or combine reservations for groups arriving more than 10 minutes after their scheduled arrival time and to combine groups when necessary.
Reservations and Cancellations
• A maximum of 12 venues may be reserved per telephone call.
• Upon arrival at each facility, you must present your confirmation letter.
• To cancel a reservation for a school group call 866-240-4655, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 7 days a week.
• To cancel a reservation for a commercial group call 866-361-5111, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday -Friday.
• For same day cancellations or delayed arrival, please call the museum at 916-324-0971.
Fees/Fee Waivers
• Commercial tour companies will be charged regular admission price at the park where applicable.
• Only K-12 non-commercial school/youth groups will receive a fee waiver with a confirmed reservation.
• Cancellation fees apply.
NO SHOWS – Due to the number of no shows at the Historic Sites venues, groups that fail to show for a reserved venue will be invoiced $25 per no show. If you are unable to attend a scheduled visit, please be considerate and cancel your reservation. A no show will prevent others from enjoying the experience and increase costs to the State.

Limited bus parking is available on K Street and L Street; otherwise, all other parking is meter-enforced.

TOUR NOTES
California State Indian Museum:
· There are no fees for reserved school groups and their chaperones. Fees for all others, including commercial, general groups, and individuals pay $5 for adults, $3 for youths 6-17.
· Reservations are for K-12 school groups ONLY (no commercial tour companies, no adult groups).
· Photography, food, and drinks are not allowed inside the museum. There is a park-like setting surrounding the museum, however there are no picnic benches.
· Adult groups must contact the State Indian Museum at (916) 324-0971 for more information.
· Groups will receive a short orientation from a docent volunteer or staff after check-in. Please give your group a minimum of 45 minutes to experience the museum. Guided tours are not offered; all tours are self-guided only.
· Reservations are required and must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
· Tour dates can be modified with at least 72 hours’ notice.
· School groups are required to have a minimum of one adult chaperone for every ten children.
· One group per tour.
