To access Reservation Drawings, search the Park name of the Location having the Reservation Drawing and hit search.  

The View Drawings pop out will appear. Enter the Drawing Name or Filter based on the Drop Down criteria.  

Once the drawing is located Select the Person + next to the drawing.  

A New Drawing Application pop out window will show. Enter the Customer Name and select Search. (Household Details pop out will generate)  

Select the +Add box to enter the drawing information. Trailer Length and ADA Preference are optional fields.  

⚠️ Trailer Length is especially important for drawings at Morro Bay SP, Malibu Creek SP, and McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial SP. Winners will not be able to request a specific site, and if the site assigned cannot accommodate their vehicle, the reservation may need to be forfeited. The application may be able to enter multiple choices. Select +Add again to see if more choices are eligible. If there are no more choices a pop up message will appear. A guest can apply once per drawing and may be able to select up to 3 reservation choices.  Neptune typically returns the number of choices available.

Once the application is complete select Apply to complete the application. The Patron will receive a confirmation email with the application number.  

To access Reservation Drawings, the guest will need to navigate to the SP holding the current drawing via www.reservecalifornia.com.

Currently, Reservation Drawings are available for select sites at Mount Tamalpais SP (Steep Ravine Cabins), Morro Bay SP (Lottery Sites), Malibu Creek SP (Lower Loop), and McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial SP (Lottery Sites, expected to open August 1 or September 1, 2025).

The walkthrough below is an example of locating and applying for the Lottery at Steep Ravine Cabins. For other parks, please follow the same steps by searching the associated Park in Mercury.

Advise the guest to click through the planned arrival date and select Show Results so we can locate the Steep Ravine Cabins.

After selecting the S Rav Cabin Area, the guest will be presented with the grid of availability and a map. 

The link for the Reservation Drawing is found above the map on the right hand side in the desktop version. 

If the guest is viewing this on a mobil device the link will be found near the very top of the page below the search results. 

Upon clicking on this link the guest will be instructed to Sign In or create an Account. 

Once signed in, the guest can proceed with their application.

Note, the guest can select up to 3 choices. 

⚠️ If applying to a drawing at Morro Bay, Malibu Creek, or McArthur-Burney Falls, guests should carefully consider the trailer length entered. While not guaranteed, entering accurate trailer length may improve the likelihood of receiving a compatible site. Guests are not guaranteed a site that accommodates their vehicle.
