Creating a New Organization

Organizations can take various forms, including businesses, schools, non-profits, governmental entities, clubs, or even informal groups, and they can vary in size from small teams to large multinational corporations.

Creating a New Organization is very similar to creating a New Household. 

First, select New Organization. in the Search Customer window. 

Note: you must first search for the existing Organization before you can access the button. 

Probe the caller and complete the required fields. 

Agent's will only have the ability to create Corporate Organizations. 

In the event you need to change the Classification to a School, you should first create the account and then contact the Lead to request an update to the Classification while you are on the line with the guest, assuming you need to process a purchase.

After completing the required fields, select OK. 

If you are reaching out to a Lead to modify the classification, this is where you can expect to see the change reflected.
