Login & Password Reset
Direct the guest to reservecalifornia.com
Once there, advise the guest to navigate to the Login button found near the shopping cart on the far right side of the header.
A Login box will appear prompting the guest to enter their email address and password.
Note: The password is case-sensitive.
The guest will click the Sign In button to proceed.
If the guest has an existing account and wishes to reset their password via the website, instruct the guest to first hit the Login button found in the upper right-hand corner of the header.
The Login box will appear. Instruct the guest to navigate to the Forgot Password? link located above the Sign In button.
The Account Recovery page will load. From here the guest will enter their email address and click on the Recover Account button.
Password Reset Complete
Guest has an account and password reset was successful. Instruct guest to check their email.
Email Address Not Found
Guest does not have an account associated with the email provided. Assist guest with creating a new account.
Below is an example of the email the guest will receive. The guest can now return to the reservation page and attempt to Login with the temporary password.
Note: Advise the guest it's best NOT to copy + paste the password as it often results in copying a space creating an inaccurate password error.
Upon successfully logging in with the temporary password, the guest will be prompted to create a new password.

If the guest has an existing account and wishes to change their password via the website, instruct the guest to first hit the Login button found in the upper right-hand corner of the header.
After the guest has logged in, instruct guest to navigate to their first name which appears next to the shopping cart in the upper right-hand corner of the header.
A drop-down will appear when the guest clicks on their name. Instruct the guest to select Your Profile.
The Your Account Detail page will load. From here the guest can scroll to the very bottom to access the Password Settings.
The guest will enter their password once, then a second time to confirm the password.
The password must be between 7 and 15 upper and lower case letters, characters, and special characters. (Valid special characters are {}()!@#$%^&/,+_ )
Notice the system will update in red while entering the password, validating it meets the password requirements. If the system does not meet the requirements, the guest will be prompted with an error.
