A tiny page for such a huge piece of history! Of course, the Columbia River Gorge's American history begins with this expedition, and it's history is laced throughout the locations covered on these websites. I don't feel the need to do a big page on L & C, though. If that is the history you are interested, there are plenty of better resources. And I do touch on the history here and there, in specific locations, and through Lyn Topinka's Columbia River Images links that tie the expedition journals to specific locations along the river...
