Northern Roads
These old roads coming down to the track/river from I-84 are too far east to be associated with the old Lang Forest wayside. Also, I am almost 100% certain that the western end, was not the old CRH grade. The eastern end, after the access road from I-84, I am not as sure about, especially considering the abandoned grade curving back up the hill to the freeway.
Not sure what these roads were for, but there is a lot of ivy down there, which is often a sign of some sort of past development!
I've been all through there, but it was a while ago and I would like to check it out again. Pictures from that first trip will be posted if I get my hard drives back!
At some point, when I trace though ODOT's Historical Road Log in more depth, I'll see if there were any side roads here.
I still haven't ruled out the highlighted grade in the Lidar image above.
