Well, I've spent so much time today on this stretch of woods (and not rebuilding the actual CRH parts of the website!) that I might as well throw up a page for Donohue. I know nothing, at this point, except for the map above.

There is a Donohue Road that ends in a clear cut south of Pepper Mountain, and it is nowhere near the location on the 1913 map.

"You found one of the old camps at the second set of coordinates [45.5206748, -122.1289754], but not the old town location [Palmer]. The first set of coordinates is located along an old grade south of yet another operation known as Apex Camp."

These coordinates look a lot closer to the location on the 1913 map, so I wonder... Anyway, this is a puzzle for another day!
