"Historic automobiles graced the Highway for the first time since 1953 at the grand opening of the Tunnels on Nov. 4, 1996. Above the Model A Ford roadster, driven by Leon Kinner and accompanied by John Lindell, is the Mid Catchment Structure and the newly installed wood canopy inside the tunnel."
