Pear Blush
10 large green pears - peel & dice.
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 med. bottle maraschino cherries & juice - cut in halves.
Cover pears with water & cook until transparent (about 15-20 min.) Drain. Mix in fruits and add sugar, cup for cup. Simmer for 2 hours. (Watching & stirring often or could scorch). Use an aluminum pan. Put spoonful on saucer & place in freezer for 5 min - if syrupy it’s ready.
