Marshmallow
2 Envelopes unflavored gelatin
6 T cold water
*2 C sugar - dissolve in ½ C boiling water
¼ t salt
Vanilla
Add sugar solution to gelatin & beat in mixer till soft peaks, Pour into molds - (too stiff - hard to pour)
Make molds in 2 ½” of flour (in pan). Pour in marshmallow (like egg shape)
Cover with flour & refrig. till set. Brush off flour with pastry brush -
*Iris Gray uses 1 ½ C sugar & ¾ C syrup
