⭐ Pink Popcorn
Pink Popcorn
2 C sugar | Stir constantly
⅔ C evaporated milk | wipe down sides
1 Tbl white Karo syrup | with pastry brush &
¼ teasp salt | water. Use heavy
1 teasp vanilla | bottom pans
Red food coloring (drop or two)
Cook until slightly firm ball (232° on
candy thermometer) Add vanilla &
food coloring. Pour slowly over the large
bowl (dishpan size) popcorn (popped).
Stirring to coat all kernels. Pour out on table
covered with wax paper to cool.
NOTE: Below is another recipe of Mom's that was typed up by Barbara. I can't explain the minor differences. Perhaps this is a later version of the recipe.
