4 Hour Cinnamon Rolls
4 Hour Cinnamon Rolls ~ Marilyn Williams
1 C milk - boil & cool
½ C sugar
½ T salt
¼ C oil
3 beaten eggs
1½ t yeast, dissolved in ½ C warm water & 1 T sugar
4½ to 5 C flour
Make very soft dough. Beat thoroughly
Raise 1 ½ hrs.
Roll out in thirds (1/3) Dough will be sticky. Use enough flour to roll out - Make square, roll sides to middle.
Use cube of butter (or oil), ½ box brown sugar, raisins, ch. nuts & cinnamon. [Roll it, then] Cut 1 ½ to 2” thick - pat down to one inch in pan. Raise to double in bulk - Bake 350° 15 min or till done. (375° ~ 10 min)
