Meeting

Brendan Tobin will be at the GAA Clubhouse at 9pm on Wednesday November 7th for a meeting to outline the club's five year plan. All club members and committee members please attend this as it is very important for the future development of our club.

Munster Club Championship

De La Salle travel to Co Clare on Sunday to take on Clare champions Newmarket in what will be their first test on what will hopefully turn out to be a decent run in the club championship. Their county final performance was one of their most impressive of the year and most evidence would suggest that the slowing ball and heavier ground would suit them as the winter kicks in. I'm not alone in having some worries about their fullback line and the loss of their two natural corner backs but assuming that they offer them a bit of protection and they replicate the hard work of their midfielders and forwards to cut down supply they should come through. In the other semifinal we are well familiar with Sarsfields of Cork having played them a number of times throughout the last six to seven years. The number of quick, skilful hurlers that have emerged from Glanmire in the last few years has been impressive and if conditions allow it, they'll have a serious chance.
