Best of Luck

We wish Ballysaggart the best of luck in the All Ireland junior club final next Sunday against Derry club Creggan Kickhams. It is an amazing achievement for a club of their size to have made it to the big dance and to be lining out on the hallowed turf of one of Europe's great stadia. We hope that the people of Ballysaggart enjoy their day and weekend and hope that the memories of this weekend will last a lifetime. Ben Hogan once said 'As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round'.

Of course there is a match to be won, and we wish them all the luck in running and hope that they'll bring back an All Ireland club title to the Deise for the first time.

GAA National Club Draw

Please contact any committee member to purchase tickets for the GAA National Club Draw. You can be assured that every penny of the €10 involved will go to CLG Tulach an Iarainn and this is an initiative from Croke Park to help clubs raise money. The prizes are amazing and first prize is an all expenses paid trip to Australia next year for the International Rules series.

Dogs

We would kindly ask that patrons obey notices refrain from walking their dogs on the hurling field.

Last Man Standing

A correction to last week's entry in that the first prize is €400 for the Last Man Standing competition. Please see facebook.com/tallowgaaLMS for details or to gloat at the people who failed at the first hurdle.
