Congratulations to our club President Eddie Cunningham who was presented with the Referee Award at the Munster GAA Awards on December 3rd in the Malton Hotel in Killarney. Eddie shared a stage with GAA stalwarts and legends like Cork's Gerald Mc Carthy, Kerry's Paudie Lynch and Declan O Sullivan and last year's hurler of the year Lar Corbett. He has been an active referee for most of his GAA life and has in recent years run a very successful programme aimed to encourage and coach young refereeing talent, along with his roles as Tallow senior hurling selector and chairman of the Western GAA Board. On behalf of Tallow GAA club we congratulate him on his achievement and hope he and his family had a great night of celebrations.
