All Ireland Minor Final

We wish the very best of luck to Cois Bhride man Colm Roche who will be part of a Waterford team to do battle with Galway next Sunday. It's a day to be savoured for all Waterford hurling fans as we are a part of the big dance for only the third time in the last fifty years. Indeed if you were a Waterford hurling supporter born anytime since the late fifties then this would only be the third time you got the oppurtunity to fly the flag on Jones' Road. Our two previous trips to All Ireland finals have been disappointing and disastrous respectively so we would hope for a change in fortune this time around. This current team is loaded with talent and if they can harness this and play as a team then we will go very close. Galway as a team looked very strong in the semifinal, playing a game where all their players like to win possession and go past a man every time (probably a reason why they don't become good senior players) so they'll be a formidable opponent.
